About Us
Founded by a pair of Ishgard's Knights Dragoon and named for the famous trials required to achieve the accolade of that order, Drachenhome is intended as a refuge for veterans of the star's wars. We began as a small, informal social group, but quickly realized the need to fill a niche in the wake of the war's end.As units in the field found needed camaraderie among their brothers and sisters during the war, we aim to help our fellows find the support and succor needed to meet the trials of the Republic of Ishgard's new and bright future in the Eorzean Alliance.We welcome all active and retired members of the Temple Knights, citizen's militias and affiliated support personell, as well as veterans of Eorzea's Grand Companies, the Eastern Alliance , Ilsabard Contingent and similiar organizations across the star. We also welcome their families and friends.We meet as equals: no titles, no houses, just an understanding of our shared experiences and how we must support each other towards a better future.We also aim to provide support for the families of servicepersons both living and among the fallen.OOC: Please feel free to use this open RP space. The only thing we ask is that you remain respectful of other players (in character and out) as well as the space itself.Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Services
Please feel free to come by to relax and socialize. We have an open kitchenette and chapel, as well as beds and hygiene facilities.Our in-house culinarian, Yseult, prepares breakfast and lunch most days, save holidays and saints' days. There are also sack lunches available to go for workers without the luxury to sit at leisure.On an NPC/Background storytelling level, we offer:-Trade and skill training

Guidelines for Open RP
- This is intended to be fun and reasonably light social RP.
All characters are welcome, be they Ishgardian natives or visitors. All levels of RP experience are also welcome.- Be respectful of your fellow players as well as the world. Basic common sense and courtesy rules apply.-Assume physical fights will be broken up and aggravating parties asked to leave.-More social and political IC conflict and tensions are a natural part of the setting, but please be mindful of roleplayers around you when engaging.-A Note on Spoilers : due to potentially attracting people who may not be up to date on the MSQ, we just advise to be mindful of this. A good rule of thumb is to avoid talking about events form the most current patch cycle.- Open RP means that you may encounter character concepts that do not fit what you are seeking and things you do not wish to engage with.-It is alright to not engage with everyone if they are not to your taste, but not okay to be impolite to the other party about it. Hopefully, you will be able to find what you are looking for!-Use your blocklist and safety features. If someone is being disruptive or rude, it's an easy process to remove them.
For more serious cases (griefing, harassment, etc), don't be shy about using the report feature and alerting venue staff. We will step in to moderate and/or eject the disruptive parties from the house- Have fun! Or else.

(We only ask that social members respect roleplayers and understand the FC house is an open venue anyone can RP in.)For this who prefer RP, Dragonsong Veterans is an honest, legitimate charity, not a front for anything nefarious. It's staff are made up mostly of volunteers willing to help those who need adjustment after the war. It is considered neutral ground. where veterans of any stripe and their families can feel safe.Drachenhome offers job training and placement, counseling, medical services,hot meals and temporary room and board.
